Alright, let's get the ball rolling again with a bit of a nerdy opinion!
As many people know, Marvel regularly adds short scenes after-credits teasing the next movie. And the one in the Avengers movie presents an exciting new villain, one that has created a little confusion with your average Joe who came there for the fight scenes like he saw in previous Marvel movies.
Picture this, a die-hard fan and his average Joe friend go see the Avengers. The fan is pleased with the characters and Joe is hypnotized by Bay'splosions and Scarlett Johansen. As the credits roll, Joe shakily gets up to go, but Fan stops him and tells him to wait a few more minutes. Que aforementioned scene. Fan gets very excited and smugly asks Joe who he thinks the new villain is. Joe thinks very hard, and after a few minutes (perhaps hours) his face lights up and he loudly proclaims:
"OMG IT'S THE RED SKULL"
*Facepalm*
To clear this up for you, the fellow you saw was Thanos, a ridiculously powerful Avengers/Fantastic Four villain who has a crush on Death (or a physical maifestation of, you guessed it, death)
Yeah, there you go.
More to come... Maybe?
A strange fellow, with strange thoughts

Well as you all have noticed, I have failed my New Years resolution. Why Isaac? Why!!??
Anyway I don't have much time to post right now, but pretty soon I'll be posting about my book and the characters therein.

Welcome to "doomsyear"
Well guess what everyone, it's 2012 and everyone is going to die! MWAHAHHAHAHAHHA!
Okay... maybe not, but there's plenty to do this year besides the end of the world! Looks like a fantastic movie year, with titles such as, The Hobbit: An unexpected journey, The Hunger Games, and... Battleship.
Yes, the upcoming movie Battleship... is based on the game... Battleship. You know, were one kid shouts "F5" And the other one shouts, "You sunk my Battleship!". Yup, we got smart people over there in Hollywood, coming up with all sorts of original ideas, like a remake of Red Dawn.
Actually, i'm looking forward to that one. If you don't know what Red Dawn is, it's a movie about a soviet invasion of america. Where a bunch of high school kids join together to fight the Reds! It's not as cheesy as it sounds, it's a really gritty, gory, and otherwise depressing movie, and only two of the kids survive. Of course, for the sake of being a more "modern" take on the movie, the bad guys are Chinese! Until the wiseguys in marketing realized they really didn't want' to lose the marketing of the guys who make our happy meal toys, so the bad guys were changed to the ever wicked North Koreans. I'll take a polite pause so everyone can patriotically scowl.
Done? Good. Let's move on, anyway... errrrrrrr........ lost my train of thought. But until I can get back on track again, I have made the New Years resolution that I will post at least once every week in this poor blog I have been sadly neglecting. That's all for now folks! Happy New Year and don't forget to brush your teeth!

Mirror, mirror, on the wall...
My earliest memory of Snow White was the Disney movie with the cute little Dwarves (Dwarfes, Dwarfs?) But as you may know the popular thing now in movie making is to mess around with old fairy tales, and as you may have guessed Snow White is next.
But here's the weird part.
There's not going to be one but TWO movies. Their release date just months apart.
Awkward...
Both films are in full scale production and scheduled to be released in the spring of 2012. Mirror, Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsman however appear to be completely different stories.
Mirror, Mirror is a much darker twist on the classic, depicting Snow White and the Seven Dwarves taking back their destroyed kingdom. I have no idea what this is supposed to mean, but I seriously doubt Snow White is going to be singing cute little birdies onto her finger,
Snow White and the Huntsman, is definitely not the cartoon you watched when you were a kid. And that's just going by the movie poster depicting Snow White in full armor sword and shield. However I may point out it doesn't appear as dark as it's counterpart, the story involves the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) being hired by the Evil Queen to hunt down Snow White. but winds up becoming her mentor.
Anyway that's my take on it, what's your perspective?

Two Steps from hell
I just found this group, they're have some pretty epic songs. I was surprised to find out they do a lot of music for movie and video game trailers.
Sorry I don't have time for a longer post right now. Later!

Perception
"It really depends on your point of view..."
That is something i'm fond of saying, often to the chagrin of friends and family. I often follow that up by saying, "I only say it because it's true"
Needless to say, I have a very strange view on perception.
Perception is what guides us through life. Every day, every choice, by anyone, maybe people or things that we can't even see, hear, or smell, alters our perception a little bit. Therefore molding how we see the world.
What many so called "neutral" people have a hard time understanding is that they themselves are biased just like the rest of the world. They're not above influence, no one is.
The key to true "neutrality" as you might put it, is realizing that everyone has got a different point of view, and then embrace and work out the diversity without being so eager to smash the other persons perception.
But like I said, It really depends on your point of view...

Apples and Birthdays....
An apple a day keeps me away!
That's right, turns out I can't eat a whole apple with these braces of mine! I now despise having two beautiful apple trees in our back yard. Sigh, WHY ME?
Anyway, It's my birthday!
Happy birthday, to me! Happy birthday, to me! Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to me!
Heehee, that's right! Birthday cake anyone? No? Yes? Maybe? Make up your mind!
Fine then, all the more for me! At any rate this is a fine day for me! However, I do wish all that schoolwork would go away....
